Implementation Results

Future discussions with the ESL faculty and the Dean of Language and Communication are being scheduled to explore the feasibility of an ESL Lab and requiring ESL Listening and Speaking instructors to become proficient in using digital voice recording tools such as VoiceThread and English Central. Additionally, more sections of ESL 182 LS will be assessed this semester to see if the results from spring 2012 bear out for fall 2012. All of the ESL Listening and Speaking instructors will be involved in the evaluation of the ESL 182 LS SLO assessments. This should help to better norm the results and allow for more input for course improvements.
